This year, three athletes from the Varsity Boys' team were selected to compete in the Stanford Invitational on April 1st!  

The Stanford Invitational Track and Field Meet is held annually at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. The meet attracts top high school athletes from Northern California, Southern California, and several other states across the US.
 
To qualify, athletes must meet qualifying standards and rank within the top qualifying athletes registered for each event. The top 24 qualifiers are selected for throwing events and the top 30 qualifiers are selected for running events.

 

• Santiago Adan – Discus:  His throw of 155'3" exceeded the 140'0" qualifying standard.

 

• Jake Joerger – Shotput:  His throw of 47'3" exceeded the 47'0" qualifying standard.

 

• Gavin Doig – 100m:  His time of 10.95 sec was faster than the 11.10 sec qualifying standard.
