The Cardinal Newman Girls Lacrosse team jumped out to an early lead and held that lead to earn a road victory over Windsor 13-5 on Tuesday.   Lily Zichichi scored twice in the first few minutes of action as the Cardinals took control of the midfield and went up 8-2 at the half.

Solid play across the board by Middies Siena Brunetti, Ella Holland and Zichichi was key to winning loose balls and pressuring the Windsor Defense.

Goalie Tessa Taylor ended the game with 9 saves as CN rolled to its 6th win of the year and improve to 3-1 in the Vine Valley League.
