Adrian Estrada finished in a medal position in the NBL Redwood meet at Spring Lake on Thursday afternoon.  A fast pace was set by the top two runners, Analy's Gaylord Cormac and Healdsburg's Kaeden Anderson but Estrada hung in the top 5.  Estrada was pushed by two Ukiah runners throughout the race but finished 8 seconds ahead of Oscar Ruiz.

Estrada finished the 2.97 mile course in a time of 16:40, :34 seconds behind the second place finisher.  Newman had 6 other runners including 2 sophomores and 4 freshman.
