The Cardinal Newman Boys Lacrosse team pulled off 10-9 overtime win over St Vincent on Monday Night. It was a thrilling and hard fought game between teams that are very evenly matched.  SV lost an early 4^th quarter lead to find themselves down 9-6 with 53 seconds to play. The Mustangs staged a furious comeback scoring three goals including a final tally at the buzzer to send the game to sudden death OT.

CN won the faceoff, settled the offense and with two quick skip passes from Presley Lashinski to Zach Raia then to Anthony Velladao, CN's young attackman found the back of the net for the game winner. The crowd on both sides was incredibly loud and supportive, and especially appreciative of the effort and entertaining night from both teams.
