The Cardinal Newman JV Boys Basketball team placed 3rd in the Montgomery Tournament.

The first game was a hard fought victory over San Marin HS 52-47. Newman was led in scoring by Vince Pecoraro with 17 points and Jake Joerger with 16 points .

In the second game, the team came up short against Archie Williams HS 51-47. Vince Pecoraro led the team in scoring with 25 points.

In the third game against Montgomery HS, Newman outscored Monty 17-3 in the fourth quarter to win 3rd place with 38-32 victory. Vince Pecoraro and Jake Joerger led the scoring with 14 points each.
